blown headgasket (searched)
ok heres my setup:
B18a head
Skunk 2 cam gears
3 agle valve job
crower 404's
Crower valve springs/retainers
Rc 310cc injectors
B&M Fpr
walbro 255lph Fuel pump
b18a block
ITR oil/water pump
.25 over Ctr pistons
Acl bearings
new oem crankshaft
Ls rods
B16 j1 tranny
XTD stage III clutch(very under-rated)
dyno tuned wit a vafc
stock exhaust mani, Tb, IM
Ok now here is the problem:
ok first is it possible to have a blown headgasket and not notice any powerloss? second if i drive my car normal it doesnt overheat unless i drive for like 1 or 2 hours but if i drive say around the block and drive it hard when i get bac in the driveway i can see the drips of water, then i look under the car and water is leaking where the overflow is. but like i said i havent noticed any powerloss. so can anyone help me with this.

Depends on how bad it is. I could take you out in my GSR and creame first and second and you'd never know I had a blown HG, but I do. Though, when I went to the track, I was trapping like 87-88 mph, which is low for a stock GSR.. so I was down in power obviously. (I'm not as stock anymore)
You need to do a "combustion test"...http://www.arrowheadradiator.com/hea..._leak_test.htm
It'll tell you if you have any exhaust in your water. Sadly, I do. The reason I suspected something was wrong is I bought the car w/no thermostat. I installed a TS
and i started blowing water out of the radiator... Did the combustion test.. <sighs> I was so freakin bummed.
I put some stop leak in it and have beat the hell out of it since then (and before then) and it hasnt given me any trouble. I'm replacing it the end of the month though and I'll be goin back to the track, so I'll see the improvement then, if any.

i checked the oil no water in the oil then i cahecked the radiator it was low so i filled it up with water and it looked alil dirty so im wondering if i need to flush the system. also i jus installed a rebuilt radiator fornow until i get my fluidyne one end of the month so can a clogged radiator cause the same problems.
Why would you even consider it being a blown headgasket? Blown headgaskets generally mean oil/coolant are mixing, you're burning off coolant (like a constant stream of white smoke out the exhaust pipe) or coolant in a cylinder. Sounds like you've got a cooling system problem, not a blown headgasket.

not always...My oil and coolant never mixed but it didnt seal completely so it let hot exhaust gasses pass through the gasket..In turn overheating the car..White smoke didnt pour out my pipe either...But sure enough the gasket was on its way out
