Default over sized piston question. might sound stupid.

if they say .25 over sized piston. does that mean 81.25 mm cylinder bore or 81.5mm

lol most likely meaning mm not inches so ".25 over" is 81.25mm

You've probably heard of .020" over which is equal to .5mm

so that means that the bore has to be bigger then the piston. so if i have 81.25 mm pistons then the bore has to be bigger for clearance and all. say like 81.5 mm. if so that makes since.

the machinest will measure the piston then deside how much to bore.
