Help! Oil + Antifreeze = not a good ls/vtec
My motor is mixing the oil and antifreeze and im not sure where
. I remember when installing my head studs that one of them went into a passage where antifreeze was, but i figured it would be blocked off when the head and gasket were on there. can anyone think of any other possible way my oil could be getting mixed with the coolent and circulating through my radiator? please help!! thanks!

i cant keep it running long enough to see any white smoke, but the head gasket is brand new and i sprayed it down with that coppertone stuff for an extra seal. All i can think of is when i put the ARP head studs in, one of the holes (bottom left i think) went to a coolent passage but all i did was put teflon tape around the arp stud and threaded it in. Im really confused on why, or where the coolent and oil are mixing. has anyone else had this problem on an ls/vtec swap?

Did you put the bolt into a hole that had antifreeze? You are supposed to chase the threads and blow them out with air to ensure that nothing is in them. you could possibly crack the block by forcing a bolt into a hole that has water in it, because water does not compress- hopefuly its your HG tho

well im going to persue taking the head back apart and try to figure this out. I also suspect that the head could have warped as a result of the downtime it had off of the block. The ARP directions say to apply their 'thread sealer' if the arp head stud protrudes into a water jacket. so i guess they forsaw that happening on some block swaps. ill check that, the head and change the head gasket. any other commentary, or advice is welcome, cause oil + antifreeze really is a touchy subject for me and my car. haha, thanks guys
Its crazy because I start the car and itll run for 15-30 seconds then after it settles for a while theres oil/coolant mixed in the radiator and the oil shows up really low on the dip stick. So wherever its mixing it seems to be putting the oil in the coolant lines real fast.
make sure all ur coolants hoses are in the right spot. if so
ur head isnt torqued down properly, if its not that
then ur head is either warped or sumthin
