Painting your headlights black?
If you've never done this before or have no clue how to do this, I suggest you don't do it at all. Chances are, you'll mess up.
Any ways, get the entire headlamps off, don't forget to take out the bulbs.
Put one of them in the oven for about 5 mins, keep an eye on them, don't leave them in there and do something else. Temp is between 250-300, you decide.
Take it out after 5 mins.
Start bending the clips all around SLOWLY. Don't go too fast, or you'll break it.
Get an exacto knife and start cutting the glue that's holding the headlamp casing and the lense together. Seperate it slowly.
Remove the lense, remove the chrome piece.
Sand it down.
Remove the dust.
Prime it.
Paint it.
Let it bake in the sun for a bit.
Make sure theirs no dust on it.
Put it back "chrome" piece back in. (Which is now black)
Put the lense back in.
Assemble back everything.
Put it in the oven for 2-3 mins, just to heat up the factory glue again.
Put the clips back to their original place, once again go slowly.
Silicon the whole thing. (Kitchen/bathtub silicon)
Put it back in the oven for 1-2 mins, let everything sink in.
Let it cool down for a bit.
Put the bulbs back in.
And you're done.
Repeat for the second headlamp.
And take your time doing this!
Good luck man.
