ok, I am going to go get a jdm front clip, and drop it into my EK hatch during my christmas vacation, but there are someting that i need to confirm.

for the motor moutns, if i using the stock gsr and civic mounts, what other mounts do i need?

now, i got the
1. driver side mount bracket from 99 civic SI
2. rear mount bracket from 99 civic is ( the T bracket)

ok, do i need the
*99-00 Civic Si tranny mount bracket
*99-00 Civic Si tranny mount

Or can i use the stock gsr tranny mount and bracket?

i did some search, some saying i usee the first two, and can use the stock gsr for tranny. but not sure.


can someone confirm that for me

I believe the top tranny mount bolts up and the front tranny bracket is just a torque mount, but 2 of 3 holes should line up, so you're good to go

 

goto barnes and noble and pick up the honda swap books itll give the info you seek. or at least search in the stickies at the top.

YOU NEED
1)99-00 SI b16 rear T bracket
2)any B series tranny front bracket
3)reuse your D16 upper tranny mount
4)Del Sol b16 front a/c bracket or crv(if you are keeping ac)
5)drivers side timing belt mount under timing cover off 99-00 Civic SI (this is the case irn piece that goes on the block)

Reuse all your stock rubber unless damaged.

The a/c bracket should be on the swap already.

If it's a front clip, he should have everything he needs.

Rewire your stock harness for VTEC.

 

im bout to swap a b18 into my em1, everything should just bold up right?

For Number 3? Can I use B-series mount from the gsr Clip? and alos can i use the gsr rubber?

becauee my car got stolen before, those fxxking asx-holes took the engine and and left me nothing.
