Houston, we have a problem.

Driving to work today, and the car starts to tick. So instead of getting on the highway, I take a side street and start going back home. It starts getting louder. Oh ****, I think to myself. Trying to keep the RPM's as low as possible, I drive as grandma-ish as possible. 3 blocks later, BOOM.

That sucks dude. Any idea what the problem is/was?

 

Thought I could make it home. Oh well, live and learn.

No idea, I know the motor had a oil burning problem, but I checked it everytime I gassed up. The level was fine on Thursday.

 

That's not cracked. That's called "thrown rod"

 

sorry to hear that dude. at least it didn't happen last week, where it was really cold and windy here in illinois. is your timing off or something? i like to know what happened aswell.

 

Gonna have to push it in the garage and start taking everything apart.

 

The only things I asked was not to blow up my engine too.
