I want to hear what you guys have to say. Step inside please...
Well my brother just bought a 2001 S2000 with 32,xxx miles about a month ago. The car is great especially after getting used to driving it. My cousin 14 days ago just bought a 2003 Nissan 350Z.
I was curious as to what your opinions were on which of these cars is better than the other. Im my honest opinion the 350Z is a bit quicker, but the S2000 feels like more of a sports car to me. The interior/exterior of the S2000 are just amazing. The suspension system of the S2000 is incredible, it also feels better to drive. The 350Z feels ackward to drive. After reving it pass 4K RPM it feels as if its going to blow. LOL Let me know what you guys think.

from out the whole the S will win. From up top the 350Z will pull slightly.
On the track the 350Z's weight will be the biggest factor. S will have late break into a corner but if there are too many straights then the Z will pull. S2k turns better and the Z goes straight better(compared to each other)

actuall yin my option the S is faster period... it just needs a person who knows how to dive and the right shift points.. the Z is torque monster compared to the S thus giving it the "faster" feeling..

different stroke for different folks
both are nice cars, i got to drove one when my neighbor purchased a BLK/BLK droptop couple years back. V6 is pretty torque and fun, very easy to drive on the street and all. Alot more people will enjoy the 350z over the s for the same reasons.
well, i end up getting the S because it felt more raw to me, the suspension felt more responsive and near perfect weight placement also is a plus. After getting rid of my turbo;ed accord, i don't feel like getting another heavy weight again, at least not anytime soon
they are two of the top dogs in the niche, and you can't go wrong with neither one, unlike the RX8.

350z is becoming a ME2 car...
"I have a 350z, oh me too."
I like some 350's, but their really nothing special IMO. I rather have the g35, or better yet wait until the new GTR comes over

haha funny you mentioned, 2 of my buddy's own 350z's( a third by next spring), my x girlfreind has a g35 coupe, and i know 2 more people that want one soon. it was a close debate with me but i stuck with the s2k because they are so rare compared to a 350z. nissan made too freakin many of them, plus they have the base model/ automatic crap so granny could drive one too. on the plus side for the 350 it does have noticeable torque but is not as stable as an s on turns. the seating position was very uncomfortable for me the seats are way too low compared to the S, and i'm 5'11.

Faster is not always better. You should be able to form an opinion of your own after driving both cars. I wouldn't let others tell you their opinions-- they will always differ widely. Just see for yourself and make your own judgement. That's the only way to be happy with whatever car you decide to get.

tell me about it, i have like 5-6 friend with g35/z
i have to disagree for the rest.
however for daily driving the 350z is much more comforty and it's more of a highway cruiser too, it's doesn't sqeek and rattle. The seat is very comforty compare to the S, and i think 99% of people feel safer/easier to turn a 350z than S. Don't get me wrong, i wouldn't give my ap1 up for vq's
like i said both are great car, and i think more people will enjoy the 350z more than s for the easy to drive factor

well the only plus i think in the 350 is you can lean the seat back more. but i love being able to see right over the steering wheel w/ the s instead of the half view i get with the 350. i can't see the bumps on the road. maybe it's cause i drive my s everyday and become so used to it, that every other car i sit in is so much more different. lol im not starting a debate by any means but i respect your opinion.
