Default gsr intake manifold b16 head

I posted this on the hybrid section but no response and im sort of in a hurry.
I did a search and found mix reviews .Im trying to install a gs rintake manifold into a b16 head because its ported and was cheaper then a skunk2. It is already tapped to fit the pr3 head but the water passage doesnt match so it is blocked off. Is this water passage really that important or will it be ok to be blocked off.

Why use a gsr manifold? No it does not fit, people usually ditch the gsr manifold anyways. On a b16 head you can get a ITR intake manifold or something along those lines.

I got it beacuse it was cheap and port and polished to 68 mm.
and i got it for 150 instead of 200+ for a itr one

even if it's been ported it does not fit the b16 head. The gsr intake manifold bolt pattern does not line up with the b16/itr heads.

Erick used to run a GSR intake manifold on his Pro all motor car. He was running a B16 head. The water passage is not critical, you will be fine without it.

the only other thing i can think of is the GSR IM better be port matched to the B16 head because the ports look totally different and you will lose airflow when its mated to the B16 head. the GSR has a "higher" port throat for lack of better terms.

it is tapped to fit a b16 head and i lined up the holes from the intake manifold to the b16 head and the ports seem to line up right
