****suspension help!!!
i bought some coilovers and it is set at teh lowest setting. but my ride is hella bouncy and i have a CX. my friend has the same springs on his 4 door GSR and his ride is much smoother and stiffer. what could be the problem. friend said that i could've put them on backwards as in the front was in the back and the back was in the front. could this be the prob? or could it be the spring rates? could u help me on this guys? thankx
yes, if you accidentally put the fronts in the rear and the rears in the front, your ride will absolultely suck. the fronts are stiffer than rears. also, does your friend's gsr have aftermarket shocks?? this could be another reason why his rides better. and do YOU have aftermarket shocks?? i always recommend that when replacing springs, get new shocks too...maybe you should look into that...it will make your ride much better if indeed your springs were installed correctly.

Integras weigh more than Civics so the same springs will feel stiffer on a Civic. Also, the stock Integra shocks have more damping to them which will also make the coilovers more liveable.
Regardless, these are what, like Arospeed or R1 or some other junk coilovers? Throw them in the trash, lay a turd on top of em then light em on fire. If you do for some reason want to keep the pieces of trash then at least get some good shocks.
