Default is anyone elses zex59300 cam loud as hell???

ok i just put mine in and its loud as hell i adjusted my lash to the specs it gave me.. running stock valvetrain with it.. its not a tick though it almost sounds like a knock its mostly present when the rev is coming back down.. is it jus tthe overlap from the stock valvesprings or u think it might be my lma'S???? anyone please..

you're supposed to have aftermarket springs for those cams. could be your valves slapping back, or your LMA's are dying. my LMA's died shortly after installing that cam.

I'm fairly certain a number of people have been running it on stock valvetrain without issue. I'll wait for them to chime in though.

When I ran my 59100 cam... it was loud... no question.

yes you CAN run that cam with stock valve train.. many have done it before including myself..
stay with the stock redline and your good...
but about the"noise" its normal for a 59300 cam....

i know running the stock springs will work.. i was just wondering about the noise its so damn loud.. how should i break it in.. ive only let it idle to operating temp 2 times thats it... ohh i idle at 2k no iacv.. so i know its gettin lubed up good .. do i change the oil or will it be ok since its a trackon ly car it gets run like 2 times a month at most

if it sound slike its "loping" or jsut loud valves its just the the cam ask anyone who has this cam and they will tell you...
