lol...all engine mods are specified from what engine you got right?...so if you have a Ls motor...maybe you should get the LS intake...correct?...think about it

You'll need one to fit your engine bay. Get one for an EG.

Assuming you're talking about an intake and NOT an intake manifold....

AEM makes some Hybrid ones... made for Hondas/Acuras w/swaps. They're cold air intakes. http://www.aempower.com/ViewPr...D=922

That is the one for a 92-95 Civic with a B-series motor (except B18C1).. the picture is just a generic one, not a real one of the intake you'd get. you can find these AEM intakes on ebay though too, that's where I bought mine, saved some $$.

Otherwise, NINJA-EG's right and you should buy the parts for the motor generally.

Yes, buy the intake that is meant for the motor not the chassis. You can always fab up something to keep it in place if you really have to. But the hybrid ones from AEM are definitely a good thing to look into since they are meant for what your looking to accomplish.

I think there should be a sticky about this.

Got a swap. What intake? AEM Hybrid.

Me, I just went AEM short ram to avoid the problem altogether, plus water can be an issue with CAI's so I figured short ram was the best option. You shoulda seen the jerry rigged CAI that was in my car when I bought it. I'm amazed water didn't get up in the motor with how low this POS intake was plus the car was on a 3" drop.

Honestly, I suppose it depends on which intake you have and where you live (I live in upstate NY and it rains a lot IMO), but I have the AEM Hybrid one (B series in an EG), and it tucks the filter inside the fender lining by the bumper. As long as you have all of your splash guards and pay attention to ENORMOUS puddles in the rain (notice I said ENORMOUS, as I've driven through some fairly huge ones, with no problem), and you drive around them. I just drive more carefully in the rain that's all. You really have to mostly submerge the filter to cause damage.

Just get a B16 wrap around - it'll fit fine.
