suspension help.
ok i have a 98 integra and what im lookin to get a new suspension set up. i currently have tien basic and its just not working for me. there to bumpy. it handles great but its just not for me. im lookin to get a real comfortable ride. something real smooth. i would like it to handle nice also. i know i cant get both, so if any of you guys know of a good set up let me know. my budget it around 450-650, the less the better =]. please only suggest if you have tried the set up before and are speaking from experience. i dont want my car to be stock height either so i cant go back to stock. i want it lowered just about 2 inches. thanks
Ksports (11k/7k) is what I am running I was quoted $625 shipped to Hawaii, but more like $550 shipped in the 48 states. The ride is pretty comfortable setting the dampening half turn from hard. It should be more comfortable with at least another half turn. Installation and adjusting (heightwise) was a piece of cake. But everyone has their own preference for dampening. People can spend at least an hour, while others 10-20 minutes.

If you go fast enough on my dampening setting, you won't feel the bumps. I haven't tried it at a softer setting.

???? 11k/7k on an eg is going to feel bumps. There's no way of getting out of it. i'm sure when you hit potholes, the whole back end feels like its jumping out of a hole. Not to mention, the car can go airborne easily at fast speeds and hitting a hump in the road.
My recommendation: the stiffer you go, the more careful you should be on the street.

ok i know this is probably gonna sound stupid and its probably been answered before. but does being stiffer means its gonna be more bouncy but better handling around corners or what? anyone please explain

With the right combination of stiffness and dampening, the car will handle really well. If you have high spring rates and not enough dampening, the ride will be bouncy.
