well ... you can't run over or into as much shiz as the real deals if you touch a curb with a rota it disintegrates... plus why spend 400-500 bucks on some nice looking light 15's 16's when you can take a loan out and roll on something that will prolly get jacked off your car next week....
I've owned prolly 5 different sets of rota's never had any problems with them

For what most people do with wheels, they're not going to notice the difference between a Rota and a Spoon.
Sure, you can break a cast Rota, but you can also break a forged Spoon.
Rota are painted, and Spoon are not. You can get the paint off of a Rota, and you cannot do it with a Spoon. However, $400 for Rota vs, what, $1600 for Spoon?
For almost all drivers, this is not going to be worth the price difference, and Grandpa Spoon would tell you that himself.
By the way...this Grandpa has broken a Spoon wheel. Clean break right through the spoke. We were supposed to send it back to the factory in Russia for analysis but never got around to it.
