what sucks about Florida is running the quarter in the summer. The heat and humidity knocks about 5 tenths to your time.

Man... I don't know what the deal is with this site...
That's a very reasonable time for a GSR on a good track, in good conditions.

I ran a 15.4 my first time out this season, with nothing but an AEM CAI.
I'm talking full interior, stock Michelin XGT-V4's... no trickery... and my tires were WAYYYY over-inflated.

The next time out, I ran a 15.1, the only thing that had changed was my muffler (not exhaust, just axle-back muffler) was removed, and I pulled my P/S belt. My friend Chris ran it before me, with the P/S belt still in, and he pulled a 15.1 as well. He's a better driver than I though. He ran a 15.131, and I ran a 15.143, he trapped 89.6, I trapped 91.88.

I'm sure I'll get flamed for this... but to the guy who started this thread, I believe you, and congratulations.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask.

The track was Indianapolis Raceway Park
The temperature was... I dunno... low 70's, no humidity...
my tires were at 25psi in the front

Flame away.

Then you have shitty drivers where you live...my 98 GS-R stock ran 15.4 with a 2.3 60', with a aem CAI, DC hedders and a 5Zigen Fireball atback, I ran a 14.5 with a 2.2 60" and a .504 reaction time. and a 96mph trap. SO i duno if you guys cant drive..or just dont beleive...but beleive it...congrats on the nice times bro...and nice 60" to..I totally beleive you.

well obviously u dont understand what the heat will do, because in central florida when it 90 during the day and 85 at night and 100% hum, any and all times will go down....the air less dense, and your engine dosent cool as much during runs so yeah great times but dont think u know what it is like running all over the country

my times personally went from 15.6 to 15.9 from feb(low 60's) to last week(high 80's) and nothing had changed between either runs

I ran a 15 flat on a track that was (I'm pretty sure) coated in bacon grease before I ran.

2.7 60'

So I totally believe that you ran that time. With a 2.2 60' I could be pushing low 14s with I/H/E.

DAMN 9.4 sec. 1/8 that's pretty awesome... I got a 9.7 on my 15 sec. run... barely any imports around here break 9's in the 1/8.
