Default ***FT: EK H22 HATCH 4 DC2 OR EK COUPE, TN***

Working on a new project and need the money. This is a 1998 Civic Hatchback DX with a JDM H22A swap. The car itself has about 85k and the motor has roughly 50k. The body is in descent condition w/a few nicks & scrapes, and also has a couple very small holes from where a body kit was screwed in, and front fenders need work A custom sunroof was already installed when I purchased the car

Interior
-Tenzo R reclinable racing seats
-Tenzo R steering wheel
-authentic Civic Type R floor mats
-Autotechnic S7 main gauges
-Autotechnic S7 air/fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, oil/water temp gauge
-factory Honda head unit w/6-disc CD changer

Exterior
-17" Hyperblack ICW rims
-Arospeed adjustable coilovers
-front & rear camber kit
-clear headlights

Engine
-JDM H22A swap
-Hasport mounts
-Hasport stage II axles
-B & M fuel pressure regulator
-liquid filled fuel pressure gauge
-Skunk 2 adjustable cam gears
-short ram air intake
-Obx stainless 4-2-1 header
-custom 2 1/2" exhaust (no cat)
-Arospeed muffler
-Unorthodox Racing underdrive pulleys
-Centerforce stage II clutch
-red steel-braided clutch line
-aluminum 4 core radiator w/slim fan
-manual timing belt tensioner conversion
-new timing belt
-new water pump
-new Type S oil pump
-new thermostat
-new spark plugs & plug wires
-new distributor
-chipped ECU

Needs a new TPS & o2 sensor tho, and the clutch could use a new throw out bearing. Just on the grind 2 much and don't have time to fix it. The idler tensioner pulley also needs to be replaced which I will include but could also just be removed along with the balancer belt to free up a few extra hp (recommended). This has been my daily driver for over a year now and has been very reliable and torquey, but now I'm starting on a new project, hmmhm. I'm located in Tennessee. Open for offers or trades for EK or DC2 coupe, holla.....

I'm seriously considering this car.........I just want to make sure it'd be a 100% dependable daily. Does the sunroof leak??

I understand. It's been my daily since Oct. 05' and hadn't broke down once! Very solid motor. No leaks. I also forgot, since ur Teg has power options, I 'll throw in my $175 Spal power window/door lock kit that I never installed Think about it & let me know....

Man if you had the TPS & o2 sensor, I'd probably do it.......does the sunroof leak??? If I was to buy a new clutch kit for it how would I go about looking it up??? As a prelude?

Just look under H22/H23 Prelude clutch kits. I would of replaced the sensors already, but they just went out and I really don't have the time to work on it. Plus I have another project getting worked on at the shop which is where all my money is currently going.

You wouldn't have to install them if you just had the parts so I could install them. SUNROOF LEAK?

No leaks in the sunroof I really don't want to spend any more money on the car, and don't feel like waiting on shipment of parts just to get my car traded. If you want I can just give you the cash to buy the two sensors I posted.

Also how much hp do you think it's pushing?

I believe you'd need all the D-series AC lines & condenser fan and the H-series AC compressor & bracket. Haven't had it dynoed but a local guy w/a stock USDM H22 swap in his EG Hatch & a mild tune pulled on every Type R & Type S it encountered.

Hmmm............could you get better pics of all the body damage? Besides the throwout bearing does the trans shift smooth?? Andwith the TPS being bad how does it effect the way it runs......Just idle surging? Last???? how would we go about meeting up to trade? Exactly what part of TN are you in?

Yeah, i can put some pics together tommorrow or somethin and e-mail them to you. Tranny shifts smooth. With the bad TPS it just bogs when you try to keep it under 2,500rpm and does't have as good throttle response as it should, but I just try to stay at a higher rpm when driving slow. No surging at idle. I'm located in Knoxville, not sure where the half-way point would be...

And I'll check mapquest on the distance.
