OK I JUST STARTED BUILDING MY MOTOR YESTERDAY ITS A B20 LONGBLOCK AN I HAVE A GSR 98 HEAD . I HAVE NO CLUE WHAT INTERNALS WORK BEST AND MY FRIEND TOLD ME TO SWITCH MY INTAKE MANIFOLD OF THE GSR BECAUSE HE SAYS ITS 2 STAGE OR SOMETHING AND TO PUT A LS MANIFOLD. WHAT SHOULD I GO WITH INTERNAL WISE BUT BEING STOCK OEM PARTS. MY BUDGET IS 2,000 I ALREADY GOT THE HEAD AN BLOCK AND A Y1 TRANNY.

Your budget really depends on how much of the work you can do yourself. If you can do all the work yourself aside from machine work you can have a potent motor for 2k. If your having a shop do the work you can get the head on the B20 and installed for around 2k.

My 2k would consist of.

Portflow valve job. $350
RS Machines Pistons and Rings. $300
ARP Rod Bolts $40
Rod bolt Installation and Installation of pistons on rods $100
Hone Block $50
ACL Bearings $75
Valve springs can be found for ~$150
Cams $375 (UGR or Blox)
Gasket set $150
Vtec oil dowels and lines ETC. $150
AEBS intake manifold $130
ARP Head Studs $110

Sell Your GSR cams on Ebay +$100

P28 ECU $125

This is just a start Your going to need a jumper harness and tuning. Plugs/Wires/Cap/Rotor/Hoses/Fluids.

I am sure I have missed alot of smaller things, just trying to give you an idea of what you are looking at.
