few questions for those of you who know your accords
first off, I have an F22B DOHC motor that was swapped in from a JDM prelude. Now im throwing a VSS code, which tells me that is why my speedo doesnt work. do 4th gen accords use the VSS to work the speedo? This is me assuming that the 4th gens utilize an electric speedometer.
Second, I have this huge problem with throwing the shifter into second without grinding it while running the car hard, but no problem doing so while under normal conditions. BUT, while driving under any condition, it never wants to go into 5th without grinding the gears even a little bit. this may seem to be a synchro problem, but i heard that sometimes CRX's and Civic's need new (swap) shift linkages to keep from grinding the gears after a swap. does the same hold true with accords? im hoping so because i dont feel like rebuilding a trans right now.
thanks for the help everyone, this forum has proved to be quite helpful.
