Default D16A6 into a 90 EF hatch.

Well a buddy of mine recently blew his motor ( timing belt jumped a few teeth ), and needs a motor. He has recently elected to do a Mini-me swap. So now he would want to get a a6 motor to start with. But one question he wants to know is, would he need to convert anything, since his car is dual point and the Si motor (d16a6) is multipoint, and could he use the same ecu instead of getting a pm6 ecu? Thanks you guys, honda-tech people never let me down!

no. he will need to use a PM7 PM6 PR4 and convert from dual point to multi point and use multi point distributor and manifold and T/body

oh cool cool. my buddy will get the complete motor for sure, i'm prettyy sure ti will have the TB and IM and ECU..But as far anything else, would it be straight, direct drop in, just using the pm6 ecu?
