RPM Envy, how can I reach 11k screaming vtec B18c1 on street gas, is it possible?
If you had the money to build a 11k rpm street car, what would need to be done? I would like some responses to what parts to use to reach this high goal, I will accept any response.
I want to know whats the best cams for RPM. I heard Toda Cs and Ds was the best of the best because of its crazy duration but is there something else better for less money? I heard of buddy club, shunk2, omni, and rocket. However, I heard these cams were made for horsepower and torque specifically, and not RPM. I don't care about horsepower or torque as much, because I want to be a high rever, it has been my dream since the b series came out, and I want to be different from the crowd.
I know this job may take years, but I want to know if 11k screaming vtec is possible with the parts below?

Shunk2 Manifold/Stock GSR
66-70MM Bored Throttle Body
Benson Open Deck Thick Sleeved 81mm B18c1-Iron,Steel?
Thick Head Gasket to bring down compression to 12:1
TODA C Cams
TODA Springs, Ti-Retainers
TODA Oil Pump Gear
TODA Timing Belt
TODA Pistons with added moly coating to sides -Staying 81mm for RPM purpose
TODA Headers/Customized Header Similar to TODA
TODA Flywheel/Fidanzza/ACT/Spoon
6 Pluck Clutch-ACT or Exedy
Some Good Valves-Titanium at least, No Steel
Polished GSR Rocker Arms/Spoon Rocker Arms
ACL Racing Bearings-with line in middle of bearings for better oil lubication
ARP STUDS,Bolts,Etc.
Aftermarket Crank-Staying 87mm stroke, maybe destroke it to hit 1.74 rodstroke ratio but this will make it a B16B which I don't want to do- (Brands)Eagle/Jun/Crower, not knifed edge, heard it kills bearings
Pauley Rods/Malley Rods/Eagle Rods/ITR Rods
ITR Oil Pump with TODA Oil Pump Gear
CTR Crank Pulley
Modified Oil Pan
So are these parts good enough for the vtec monsterous task of 11k? What is needed? What other brands are better?Do I need to run higher octane gas?What are some suggestions?

LOL......"11k screaming vtec", that is almost sig worthy. But seriously, why would you want to rev that high??? What kind of hp do u want to reach? You could prolly just build a motor that will make your power goal around 9k or does it HAVE to be 11k?

i dont think i have ever seen a Honda cam forsale that has a powerband past 9500rpms... if it aint making power that high there is no reason to rev it that high...

was that ment to me? my car falls on its face at 8400rpms... new cams in soon... should make power to 9250-9500rpms... i have no problem doing it, its not a LS/GSR, its a B16 and will be fine at those RPMs

do some research spoon proved it wrong with one of their cars they had a EK Type R that ran to 10k and a EK type R that ran to 8k they both had pretty much same mods and the 8k car killed it b/c it takes too much time to get to 10K dont know how to explain it really but look it up. the 8K car stayed in its powerband more and won on the drag race and won in the corners.
spoon has so many tricks they used when they assembled those engine like modifing all of their parts to their specs during assembley.
you cant really compare anybody to them.
maybe if you just bought a spoon engine then i would say yes it could.

DUDE ONE OF THESE DAYS YOUR GOING TO EVENTUALLY TROW A BEARING 11K IS WAY TO HIGH TO DRIVE OF STREETS. IM MY OPINION
Why dont you get A b16 do A toda head kit some high comp. pistons and ITB's it will sound like 11k at 9k you are not being realistic here. you would also need to find engine man. thats not made by Honda, honda ecu produce fuel maps up to 9k so you will run lean past that...

i dont know what everyone is so worried about. there is a kid around here that is always ripping around town with this honda and he said that his revlimiter is something like 13K!? he doesnt have the vtec though. but wow does that CBR really go
