k24a4 into EG swap... need some kinda info
ok, so i figure i should be a little more specific... if im pairing a type s tranny to a k24, would i use the accord flywheel and clutch, or the rsx?

i would us rsx flywheel and clutch..why would you swap low comp accord block i would get a tsx or type s block or some pistons and rods...i personally dont think putting a A4 is worth it unless your boosting your gonna spend at least 3000 just to get the motor to run in the car...

You will make ok power with this motor and have tq. but upgrades will come hard, since the k20a2 head does not allow the valve to piston clearance needed for the vtc. so you will then later on have to buy rods and pistons and have down time.
see, i had heard that there was a bit of inginuity needed to work that type s head onto the a4 block, so i wasnt sure if that would be the way to go.
here's a question i have been trying to figure out... the b18 i have in there now is coming out, and the tranny is mounted on the opposite side of the block as the k24. Will I basically have to relocate everything to the opposite side of the engine well? i have an EG, so the engine well isnt exactly small... if anything will get in the way, it looks like it would be the battery

even if it costs 3000 to get the engine running the vehicle, that leaves me a good couple thousand in building the engine up that I would have spent on just the swap had I gone with the type s or tsx.
And believe me, the lower comp has already been BEGGING me to boost lol
