Default Oil cooler piping 10A/N or 8A/N, 19 Row ? Thermostat ?

Looking into getting an oil cooler for my ride, just wondering what size piping you guys are running and the core size.

Also wondering if I need a thermostat if i live in a climate that never drops below 10degrees celcius

Thanks,

My setup is 10AN lines and a 16 row MOCAL cooler and I do have a thermostat. It helps get the oil up to working temps quicker, but as you are living in Australia I bet it's a bit warmer usually than up here in Norway.

Here's a few pics showing the goods, I also got a CM remote filter as part of the cooler install :

My setup is a 16row SETRAB cooler, a MOCAL SandwichPlate (with Thermostat) and custom Stainless-steel Hoses with Dash10 Fittings.

Some great replies, so it seems like 10A/N fitting size is the way to go.

well you could mount it about anywhere that it could get air.....off to either side, behind the radiator, its really just wherever you feel you can put it.

Dr. Pooface's setup. (let me know if you want me to remove the pic man)

But it takes a brave man to hack up a front end like that though.

Never seen that before, but hey function over form

My bumper opening is home to a decently sized front mount, but would like to run an oil and fuel cooler, just trying to figure out a way to mount them so they get adequate airflow. I was thinking of doing air ducts, one on each side of the bumper and mount the cooler below the headlights.

Well sure, but I didn't realize fuel got warm enough that it needed the kind of cooling an air-liquid exchanger is capable of. Are there benefits to that even? Cooler air = denser, cooler oil = doesn't break down, cooler fuel = ...?

Is there a benefit to that? It combusts more efficiently or something?
