for the price of the Si. you might as well just go get an EVO. seriously. i've driven both cars, i dont like how the rpms on the Si "hang" meaning that you push in the clutch and the rpms stay the same for a second. clutch is to soft, but overall a good car. EVO has a pretty rough clutch, and its a great car.

EVO > Si.

maybe a used beat to **** evo..... they are not even in the same ballpark as far as price goes....

about 22k for a si

and 29-30k for an evo rs base model...... any other model is 33k plus

thats 7-8k difference.....

Yes veryy true. but the Si's are just like far to "futuristic"...IMO. like the lines and the interior. its a very nice car for just cruising and long trips. i would spend that 10k more to get an EVO, maybe the OP will

Where i live i can get an MR evo 9 for 31 after taxes and licenceing

SO the reason u drive a 15 year old boosted hatch is....... Oh oh i no it has always been ya dream car rite? On trying to compare an evo to a damn si... The evo's a great car but why compare a front wheel drive non boosted car to it?

well, you can pit up a f430 to a evo mr and the same would still applies.

si is not as fast as the evo because the price, buyer and niche is different, i don't take much thinking to figure that one out.

if you could get the Si for base price(around 20k+ tax and mark up's) is a great deal if you ask me. Sorry to say the star trekkie interior is still better looking than the 1989 designed evo interior but that's not the point, really.

i'll get the evo/stbye for 30+ k to spend

for 20+k, si sedan looks like a deal to me

This guy makes a really good point, but on another note I test drove an EVO yesterday, but then I went to the Ferrari dealership and I test drove a Ferrari Enzo Ferrari and I must say that the Enzo Ferrari has a much better clutch.

Enzo Ferrari > EVO > SI

Well, if the Civic is too Futuristic then I think its safe to suggest an 84 Civic. I would save the 20k to get an old Civic, maybe the OP will.

You sure that was a good idea? It may be too futuristic to advance from a 7M-GTE to the SC300, you sure you can handle that kind of futurisiticness?

if you want a fast car - srt-4 or evo 8

you can't get an Enzo without having three different ferrari's. let alone having to get invited to get one

The MK3 supra was a good car. just wanted the SC300. much more possibilities, and such. its more luxurious, but can be one hell of a car. it can go like raped ape.

if he wants the best bang for the buck. the SRT4 will be the best car. if he wants economy, the civic. but since he said "Si" i automatically thought he wants to toy around a little. ok a lot

SRT-4, Neon.... whatever you want to call it... either way, Chrysler sucks ***** and the cars they make are all shitty. Do you really believe Diamler Chrysler decided to go all out and actually finally make a road worthy car with the SRT 4? No they probably didn't and for further proof, please see the new SRT-4 ... talk about working backwards.

Ok. let me look at em.

Edit: they dont make em anymore. whats so wrong with the new ones?

and my buddy, alex, that owns the Si had a 2nd gear problem. When he put it in 2nd gear, it would grind as if you didn't have the clutch in. even though it was all the way in. but you could drive it in second and then put it in third with no problem. he took it to honda and they said it was a "deffective part". they didn't say what went wrong.
