Default engine locked up. solutions?

i was testing my stock h22 on the highway today. suddenly the rpm stop at 6500 on 4th gear. i pulled to neutral, then my battery lights came on (my engine stalled?). i pulled over on the shoulder and tried to restart it but it wouldn't start anymore. i'm guessing the piston/rod gave up on me because i could'nt turn the crank manually anymore.

i might swap a new one, but is it possible to rebuild it, because i have always wanted an all motor stroker kit for the engine. or should i purchase the parts piece by piece? i found the kit off of pocketrocketsracing.com for $2698.60. will it work, because i don't want to buy the kit and found out it won't go in the damaged engine. please help with any suggestions. thanks.

did the oil light come on at all?

should be able to use the stroker kit and long as it didnt spin a main bearings then you have to get the spun bearing rebored and get oversized bearings

it depends on what you want to do with this car. Is it going to be a street strip car or all race. You dont want to much compression that it wont run off 93 octane.

on 94's, the oil lights and battery lights come on when the engine stalls, but i have a three weeks old only and i just filled oil two days before. but as for the stroker, it will be street strip, w/ the highest, safest compression ratio. please advise. thanks

Hell there was someone running 13:1 on pump gas, it's all about the tuning. (Although you gotta pull timing)

As far as this dude look for threads by 2point6.

what happens if your compression ratio is too high but still you used 93 octane?

You will detonate and pretty much destroy the engine.
