Ok so my transmission hesitates when shifting shifts rough and has no ***** past 3000rpms in the later gears, its a 4-speed automatic transmission from a '93 LS and I was wondering if anyone knew if I could find a place that could either rebuild it or that I could get on from for less than $1500.

 

Automatic trannies are sold like soiled panties, discretely and cheaply. Look in classifieds, but go under a fake name and wear those glasses with the nose and moustache. Seriously, I don't think it would be terribly expensive to buy another one in better condition, people convert cars all the time.
