Default AM I paranoid? Skunk Cams & Ferrea Valvetrain

Is it possible for the Ferrea valvetrain namely the valve springs to be too soft for the Skunk2 Stage2 (not pro) cams?

I recently spoke to someone who mentioned I switch up valve springs to Eibach Springs because of the large lift on the Stage2 cams will be too much for the Ferrea valves.

Does anyone have any experience with these cams on an H22A with Ferrea components?

Also, titanium retainers - who runs them on a street car and hasnt had them wear out prematurely???

jesus dude. This site is for help. And its not like he posted a thread like how do i install an intake or whats the best exhaust. This a pretty technical specific question.

To the OP
I am actually not sure of the answer to this. Did you search at all on it? I kind of doubt this has been covered before. What made you question it in the first place?

im pretty sure you are good with the ferrea springs. the easiest way to assure yourself is to find out the spring pressure. it didnt say on the ferrea website, i checked. but im sure you can find it w/ a search. just get the rocketmotorsports springs and retainers!

I love this **** so much. Just because I dont have 1xxx posts doesnt mean I dont know what Im doing. Please go ahead and prove me wrong and post up some links as to where I can find the answer to my question. Until then take your keyboard and shove it in your mouth. The reason I dont have a million posts on here is because all I do is search. If I dont find what Im looking for on this and other Honda sites is when I post.

As for the spring pressure, Im going to call them tomorrow and see that. I just wanted first hand experience. And I would go with Rocket springs but I really dont want to loose money on all the stuff I bought.

PS - I did read the titanium ret thread but again so many different opinions...

Which Ferrea springs do you have? They make many versions all with different spring rates, seat pressures, etc. for H22 engines.

You can buy a cheap spring tester from Summit and measure the pressure at installed height yourself, then measure it at max lift to see what the specs for your setup is for yourself, BTW.

I thought Ferrea only made 3 different springs for the h22 application. Dual silicone, dual turbo, dual endurance. Im not 100% sure though.
