Drop Forks
Anyone know where i can find some. I think Suspension Tech used to make them or something. They were made to lower the car an inch or two while retaining stock suspension. I'm gonna be installing my omnipower suspension soon and i know that you cant lower the front very much on an ef with omni's. so does anybody know if they still make them, or know anything about them for that matter?
They were dicontinued looooong ago. I bought a set for my 00' Civic in 01 and they were discontinued then. I used to run ST Drop Forks (F) and ProArms (R) with GR2s and Arospeed coilovers. I loved it, I was able to ride with the coilovers all the way up and still have a 2.5" drop, rode great. At shows, I'd drop the coilovers all the way down and would tuck the wheel, the jackpoint of the frame would be less than an inch off the ground and it would tuck the wheels...I loved it.
pm FOUR-G. I know he runs some drop forks on his four door. I think he got them way back in the day and from what he told me they are out of production. Maybe he knows something that I dont about them. HTH
They stopped making them due to cracking problems. I knew it before I bought them and I never had a problem, most people probably didn't. But the guy that bought my car slid it into a curb/lightpole, less than aweek after owning it and demolished the LR Pro Arm and LF Fork. So when they broke, they really broke.
