A friend of mine wants to sell his 900RR its yellow, had a ding on the tail about 1" x 1". in need of a new rear tire, runs GREAT! trans is good too. hes asking 4600 because that's how much he still owes on it. I use to have a 900 that i loved but the more i look at this bike the more I feel unsure if i want a 900RR at all. I'm really thinking about getting a F4 or something similar and perhaps trying to hone my riding skills. not to mention is memory serves me correctly, 4600 is a bit high.

 

I use the 10% rule of thumb. Drop 10% from it's value every year. Assuming the bike is in mint condition and averaged 3500 miles a year.

Ofcourse this isn't an exact science but I also assume that the maximum life expectancy of a bike is roughly 10 years.

there was a 99 on a local forum for 3k and it was mint. But i dont even ride the bike I have enough to even consider having 2 of them. good deal nonetheless.
