Just curious, you guys get carbon buildup on your bumpers? Mine dumps parallel to my down pipe and it looks all nasty down there.

This is done purely for show is it not?

Because its pretty dang easy to send it down and back. For the most part seems like extra work for mad JDM bumper soot.

i dont like open dumps IMO... blocks out the beautiful sound of the spool and sounds like a big exhaust leak... plus u always smell exhaust fumes in the car...

when im not running an internal wastegate... ill have my dump welded into the downpipe

but opinions are like ********... everyones got one haha

Why ruin your bumper... This is so stupid... Just route it underneath the car or back into the exhaust...

"Oh look at me.. I have an exhaust pipe out of my bumper, wanna race?"

Its for horsepower

You get a big gain by running open downpipe, and running open wastegate

I had mine routed under the motor (3"dp, 2" wg) and its VERY loud, disgustingly loud, I dont mind it, I love it, but everyone else hates it

Next year Im going to route both out infront of the tire (not cutting my bumper) just to see what it does for sound to keep it from resonating from underneath the car and maybe even a performance gain from having only 1 15* bend in the exhaust

I dont like mufflers, I like making fvcking power!!

open dump sounds cool as hell, but open down pipe is another story... lol... It was cool for about the first couple of romps and that was about it. Mine dumped right under where i sat, and my god... the vibrations and tone while cruising up a slight incline where defening. WOT sounded really cool though!
