Default vibration

I was thinking about doing a swap. Either a b16a or b18a1.
A friend of mine had a crx with a b16a. I took it for a test drive to see how i liked it. It was fast as hell but it vibrated like hell and was extremely loud and unpleasant to drive. Is every swap like this or was this a bad swap? What kind of ride can I expect with a b18 in there?

Your friend probably had butt cheeks mounts in his car. A few companies now actually give the customer of the choice as to what *hardness* of rubber they want to run in the mounts. Some people like to have their dash shake though. With the loudness, your friend probably thinks its makes his car go faster.
