Default Parting Out: '00 GSR white/black interior, been in accident, 4000$ 97k miles UPDATED, MROE PICTURES

So the car was in a bad enough accident that i just dont want to deal with it. The insurance company gave me 8100 for repairs which is more than enough and then offered to take the car off my hands for 1700, i laughed in their faces. Now they are probobly laughing at me because im not that car savvy and i know ill get ripped off unless someone knows what they are doing and want to actually help me. All in all i just want to save myself stress and get rid of the car.

The engine has 97xxx on it and has a brand new timing belt, water pump, and valve adjustment job, i think i did it at 94000 miles. That is the most frustrating part for me. I dont really want to part it out because it just seems too difficult of a task while im trying to get situated in school and working way too much at trader joes(sympathize since i work at a cool place)

The car is still running but i dont want to run it because the radiator reservoir was punctered in the accident. The headers are untouched and i think the radiator might still work. its all body damage. The passenger side quarter panel is pushed in but its not anything drastic. im sure if you popped it out it could look fine. The issue with the car is the frame racks (im pretty sure im saying this right?) that extend out into the engine bay have had the corners bent up a bit at the very end. I dont even think it would require welding but just some TLC to get the last 3 inches of them straightened out or whatever it is that needs to be done. Also the fender aprons need to be repaired too. I guess if someone really knew what they were doing they could make the car LOOK(which is the biggest issue, making things fit the way they should) as good as the car deserves to look. At this point im losing sleep over the car and im not happy about it.

Any advice is well welcomed as well.

The car hit a guardrail while spinning. I was not driving the car and i have an ex best friend as of now.

The guardrail it hit didnt even hit the bumper, it hit the filler and the edge of the light, which is just weird, i guess the design of the railing served its purpose?

You can see here its just body damage, ill have more pictures on monday when i go back to the shop where its at. you can see again the gaurdrail really mangled up the bumper with its design

they didnt pay me off for the car, they payed me for the repair cost. they wanted to pay me 1700 for the car itself. The car was worth over 10,000 and the damage costs didnt exceed 75%. unless ive been misinformed. ill update once i speak with the insurance company next.
