Default input shaft bearing

i just notice that my input shaft bearing is bad but how do i change it what or how do i take off the tranny housing to get to the inside where the bearing is i looked at the helms manual but nothing about that

im going to take off the back tranny housing but i m reading o this page and it says that i have to take of a 8mm allen srew thats located inside where the throw out bering is do i have to take that off so the housing can come of i though it was just the screws and the pin

helms expains it the best,and it is that manual.

yeah i tried searching it on helms but nothing about the input shaft bearing
does anybody know on what page in the helms manual is that part about the input shaft bearing

is there another name for a input shaft bearing cause i tried calling autozone and checkers and thet sais they dont have it or its probably called something else

to change the input shaft (Mainshaft) bearing, you need to remove the entire gearset from the transmission - the 8mm allen screw from the clutch side is what holds the interlock guide for the shift forks in place - you need to remove it in order to lift the gearset, shift forks, etc. out of the case
