Need Help With My Car
I have a problem and do not know anything. My car's cooling fan seems to be running trying to cool the engine when I turn off my car. When I drice my car the thermostat reading seems to be normal but when I stop the thermostat reading seems to get hot and once i drive again it cools down. What can be the problem? I wonder if this woulod be cheap. thnx
Radiator???? Sorry to hear that, i had replaced my radiator about 2 years ago. Hopefully it is just a thermostat, ill get a mechanic to replace , i wonder how thermostats cost

same problem with me.. when i hit a curve lol.. anyway my radiator seem normal, when i was driving the temp seem normal but when i am at a complete stop it go rocket high, llol and when i park the fan continue to be on for like 5 minute then i ask my uncle to look at it he said my radiator was broken, had to go to autozone and bought one for 100 buck and replace it. everything was normal again =} so am guessing you would have the same problem as mine.
replace the thermostat, not even that much, and if it works fine after that, problem solve, if not check the radiator fluid and the radiator. pump out the fluid yourself. if it still over heats at stops then i guess you gotta try the radiator.
When the engine coolant temp is in the range of 215-220, temp switch 'B' [inline with the top radiator hose] will allow the cooling fans to run for up to 15 minutes.
If the fans are running longer than that unplug that temp sensor to prove it is malfunctioning. The fans should shut down when it is unplugged.
