Default Tranny leaking + gears grinding?

I have a b18A with a b16 tranny in my EF and its grinding in 3rd and reverse. Also it shifts normally when cold, however as the engine warms up it is very difficult to shift into every gear. It feels like I am forcing it, especially in 1st at a stoplight. I noticed it is leaking fluid from where the tranny meets the engine and its not engine oil, so is the low tranny fluid causing this or is it a bad tranny? Help is appreciated....thanks.

Also, will filling the tranny fluid make it more smooth if thats the problem?

low fluid can cause hard shifting...try adding fluid and then see

add fluid,. if that doesnt, find the leak, pull it out. fix the leak and put you a set of the gear speed carbon coated synchros in,. worth every penny.
