hey just wondering, i have never really thought of this until just a second a go, do 05-06 type-s tailights fit in placement on a 02-04 type-s? not sure if that would look right or not but just wondering.

If you also changed the bumpers, will they fit? Or are there more differences as well?

 

Just by looking at the pics, they wouldn't fit...

On the very top, outside part of the light...

The 02-04 has more of a steeper dropoff from the top line of the light than the 05-06. The 05-06 is more of a "sloping" drop, by the looks of it.

 

It's possible but it'll cost you alot of money because you have to change the front bumper, headlights, headlight brackets and wiring assembly. But really there is no body modification just need to change those items.
