I've been considering a new set of seats and really like the recaro SPGs. However, there seems to be two variations. Which is the current seat?

I was assuming it was the second one. That is the seat on recaro-nao.com. Maybe the site hasn't been updated.

However, many websites show the first one as the sp-g.

so i dont know. i'd rather have the first one, those thigh bolsters look nicey nice, but as long as the seat says recaro on it, i'd be happy

 

They are both the current SPG. The first pic is for the Asia/Europe market and the second one if for the US market. Just think of it like the USDM and JDM ITR seats. You can have the first one shipped here but it will cost you more just the the JDM Recaro seats.

 

it is the bottom one, we have couple came in not long ago and they are the bottom one, by far they are the best seat you will ever get

 

I actually like the bottom ones a bit better due to the slightly lower side bolsters and ease of entry/exit. Anyone want to buy a set of lightly used red recaro SRDs?
