Fuel Pump Wont Prime
Hi all I'm new here so I hope someone can help. I have a 92 Lude with an H23 in it and about 3 months ago I pulled motor out to rebuild, 293k miles on her. I put a new walbro 255 fuel pump in it before taking engine out and it worked fine. Since then I have reinstalled motor, sleeved, forged rods and pistons, getting turboed.
The fuel pump will not prime and I dont hear any clicking from main relay. I put on bigger injectors 450cc blue tips, obx fuel rail, obx adjustable fuel pressure regulator and no fuel. Motor turns over but no pressure showing on regulator gauge at all. Tested wires coming out of pump and had nothing. Have a good ground showing at relay also. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Pat

had a problem similiar to this.
id say. check your t-stat ground. swap relays just to be sure. and check the ground and power wire on the fuel pump.

bench test your main relay, theres a section in the Manual that tells you how to do this.
I had a similar problem when i swapped out my f22 and H22'ed my car, the stock F22 pump wouldn't prime so had to swap it out for a H22 one, which fixed the problem. Something to do with the fuel pressure at the injectors.
