Default is she worth saving

i found this 97 type r in the back of a shop by my house, is this worth saving? and also the inside is all gutted out, there is nothing left, no wires no cable or anything

i was thinking buy both doors and a hatch, that'll fix the window and some of the body damage

from what i know is that it was stolen and stripped, than this shop bought the car but don't have time for it so it's just sitting out back

only if you know what you're getting into. if you're not goign to do the work yourself, you're better of buying a whole one. theres quite a bit of stuff missing, so you can't be novice to take on a project like that

Only 320 1997 ITRs were brought to the US, and too many of them are already destroyed. So yes, she is definitely worth saving. The body still appears to be in great shape. I wouldn't let the severe strippage or few sheet metal wrinkles phase you. Is there an asking price on heR? If you don't pick heR up, at least help get heR into good hands..

&lt;---wishes he had the space to take on such a project.

asking price is kinda high too, thats why im not so sure bout getting heR. $2000 he also have the dash with the vin plate for it.

not worth $2000. perhaps $500. windows are gone, and body is in poor shape.

1000 i would for sure but 2000 is a bit much but it is a 97. how would you know what # it is without the armrest badge
