Favorite thing about your new Civic?
Seems like every single thread as of late has been about DBW, rev-hang, 3rd gear or what will / will not void your warranty. whiners
Lets hear about the thing you like the MOST about your new Civic.
For me its a toss up between the amazingly engineered 6-speed and the ergonomic interior.
Personally, I love sitting in the drivers seat of my Civic, almost like a cockpit with the easy to read red digital speedometer, the comfy *** red stitched seats, the great views the massive windshield and door windows provide for the driver and passenger alike. The small "aluminim-look" accents around the interior also give it more of a classy feel compared to previous year civics. Not to mention the STOCK stereos sound GREAT, IMO.

The Styling, both inside and out. The comfort as well. I have had 2 major spine operations in the last 7 years (have 4" of Titanium in my cervical spine), the SI was most comfortable for me among comparable models.
I also really like the Speedo/Tach set-up. Having the Speedo above the tach makes the dash much cleaner looking to me.
Last, the potential. When I looked at this car for the 1st time (the day I bought it), the service managers at the dealer told me, he believed the SI would be an excellent "tweeker" car. In my opinion, he was right. Just look at the some the HP people are getting from a stock block and head with only bolt-ons.
Just my opinion.

I used to make fun of Traction Control. "A real driver doesn't need no fancy gadgets." I am here to tell you that the SVA combined with a LSD makes my FA5 handle like my race-prepped CRX.
I appreciate all the little thingys (remote key, courtesy lights, steering wheel radio controls, etc.) but maybe the best is a telescoping steering wheel.
Overall, it is a hell of a package for the price.

I love the inside. Thats what sold the car for me. I love the dash setup. Everyone that has ever been in my car loves the inside/dash. One of my favorites is the little spot in front of the cup holder cause it hold my phone perfect! I can take corners however I feel like and my phone stays put!

Since I work for a dealer i've gotten to drive everything
My favs for the Si are
The accents on the interior
The fact that you can ease the clutch out in 1st with no gas, let it stabilize, then nail the gas... it goes like stink with no bog (try that in your older civic)
R18 civics:
The 4 door is my favorite for it's rear end (and the fact i can sit in the back seat), it has very nice power in comparison to D series civics, even with a weight gain the power to weight is much better than previous generations.
The two door is the same minus the rear end.
Also I like the option of being able to get a DX with NOTHING. For those who enjoy building those areas of the car, you get a blank canvas to do it with
Now the 4door Si that showed up yesterday = sex

love the si interior ,seats, dash ,and the e brake location . next would have to be the saftey of the car if any of you have seen the civics side curtain air bag system in the pamphlit you feel more comfortable putting kids and your loved ones in the car.. the windsheild is huge but makes for good visability but i cant stand the wipers..the motor and suspention will give you a thrill every time u drive it , so much it has cost a few $ in tickits and we have had the car for less than a month
The new key fob, front end, headlights, interior, sound system, paint color options... what's not to love???
LISTEN UP PHILLY - TONIGHTS FLYERS GAME 12/9 - TWO TICKETS - SECTION 105 - ROW 12 - PLUS PARKING - ONLY $80. NORMALLY $89.00 EACH.

I love both the front and back end. I also love the fact that a lot of people on the road think its just any old civic and underestimate me, tryin to pull up all close to me and i leave them in the dust. I also love the nifty compartments like the ones in front of and behind the shifter (Great for storing mp3 player/cell phone). Another pleasing aspect is how nice it sounds stock. My friend who despises japanese cars was actually taken aback. When I took him for a drive around some windy roads and opened it up on the straight aways, he said it sounded like no other honda he'd ever heard and that the performance was 200% better than he had expected.
