eg/ef radiator question

Default eg/ef radiator question

can i get an eg radiator to fit in my ef, i was thinkin usin the eg radiator for more room in my engine bay, or does anyone make them cant really find anyone

ya man it fits easy, if your gona get a new radiater you might as well just upgrade to the 2" thick aluminum half radiator for the 92-95 civic. you can't use the same mount to hold the top of the radiator that the 92-95 civics use it will hit your hood, i made a little side mount bracket that bolts right up to the radiator, then cut off that little post on top of the radiator.

Yeah same here But I have a eg Ebay Rad in my 89 SI hatch. I used the IM aftermarket cross member, and it fit with minor mod. If you use a stock eg or even a del sol rad. it will fit perfect. Here's some pics.

They dont fit without leaning em unless you get rid of the stock cross member.

Also because people buy these gorilla nice radiators when they don't even need them. Specially if your car is a daily driver, its overkill to have a huge radiator. I like it when I see guys have huge radiators in their car when they live in cold *** climates. If you track your car then its good and I'm not talking about 1/4 racing either.
