Default Just got back from the Dragstrip..... :)

Ran the B18B for the first time tonight, i'm pretty happy with the results. Hopefully i'll be able to lower the time alittle more. Anybody see any room for improvement?

Left lane is me, of course.......

as soon as you see the 3rd yellow light launch..
you'll get .5's all night on the r/t

get some nice grippy tires, and lower the 60 foot a bit more, and you should be knockin' on high/mid 14's. no problemo.

i really wouldnt worry about r/t if you're just going for your times.. since r/t has no affect on your 1/4 time.

you guy shave to realize that he's in a coupe.. bone stock LS motor.
i see 92-95 hatchbacks with b16a's having trouble hitting 14's lol.

i think he did pretty good.. and a 2.1 60 foot is not bad at all

i know the r/t has nothing to do with the time, but it's still nice to get low r/t

notice how i put the grippy tires, an lower 60 foots in a seperate paragraph, well different line atleast

damn, that is a decent 60ft for street tires, I just ran at Maple Grove and could not get any better then a 2.37 60ft . The Azenis sidewall is a little stiff for drag racing plus people were bitching all day about the traction on the track. I need to get to Atco or E-town and try some runs there. I'd be happy with a 2.16!

Was that at Atco?

How many times did you run? I ran my 92 Dx hatch w' LS twice, and got 15.0@92 and 14.9@93 with just short intake. I wanna go back once I get I/H/E and see it my times get better.

Well, i got plenty of grip at Atco.

I was on Kumho's,aired down to 22psi. It was the first time i ran the car with the new motor, so i was'nt really used to it. My first run i only hit a 16 flat. I majorly spun the tires off the line. I'm hopin to hit around a 15.0-14.9. I'll keep you posted.

I live at acto. I never pay to get in cause I go with some big v8 heavy hitters. If you go behind some fast cars(ex. like 9-10 second cars) Yes your car will hook like hell. I should know cause that is what I always try and do. I even broke a tranny doing that. Now I have no lsd . Any way good time..

Not bad at all. Great 60 ft for the first time out.
I ran a 14.6 in my Si hatch with full interior. 2.0 60' on Yokohama Intermediates. Gsr transmission. Only I/H/E.

Im hoping to get to Atco one of these nights to see what I will run with the turbo and the new Azena's. Hoping for low 13's.

Nice.......

I'll be happy to hit 15.0. The motor is bone stock and i don't plan on adding an Intake or Header, just saving for turbo. I will probably go with a GSR tranny in the future also......

I don't think you can really expect 60' times much lower than that on street tires. Those are killer 60' times. I think now you have to select your most effective shift points and work on shifting as fast as you can.

Yeah, the LS tranny drops revs like crazy in between shifts. I'm hoping to hit a 2.0 60' atleast. On that run i also lost traction in first and second (not badly) and had to counter steer cause i was kinda heading towards the left of the track. I'm heading out to Atco again on Thursday, so we'll see if it can do any better.........

yeah your 60ft times were good/better than my times.. but i have a 4-1 header i think thats how i got 15.0 but i need to work on launching etc.. i spun alot in first, little very little in second but i think once i put the gsr tranny on ill be straight. i have a hb and i think you have a coupe? so you are looking better with your times. i should be running a little better but who knows i think i was just nervous..
