Default Mastercraft Avenger HP

I just received my new wheels from US and the tires are Mastercraft Avenger HP.

They don't exist here in France.

What do you think about theses ?

Thanx.

Mastercraft is Cooper Tires' (cheap brand) low end line. I would recommend you either see how much you can get for them or just burn em up ASAP and get some good UHP A/S tires or UHP tires. For UHP A/S I like the Pilot Exalto A/S, but not many other people on the board do, they will recommend the Kumho Ecsta ASX or Pirelli P-Zero Nero M/S. For UHP on a budget I would recommend the Kumho Ecsta SPT, Avon Tech 550, or Fuzion ZRi.

I'ts what I thought about theses.

I will test Goodyear Eagle F1 GDS3 I think.

I drove already 15000km with Michelin Pilot Exalto 2 and they're excellents, much more than Pilot Exalto 1....

All three of these are good all-season tires; the downside of the Michelin is its price, not its performance.

However, you need to ask yourself whether you need all-season tires (if you need to use the same tires in snow and frigid cold in the winter as the rest of the year), or summer tires (if you don't need to use the tires in snow or frigid cold). If you don't drive in snow or frigid cold, then summer tires will give you much better performance than all-season tires.

If you're concerned about price, then the SPT is usually lower in price than the others (at least, it is here in the States).

If you're not concerned about price, then there are other tires offering better performance. Such as...

The F1 GS-D3 is an outstanding summer tire, one of the very best you can get. Excellent dry traction, excellent wet traction, reasonably long treadlife. Great choice.

Michelin uses the Exalto name on several different tires oriented towards a combination of performance and value (budget). I think you're referring to the Pilot Exalto PE2, which is a summer tire. HondaF1Fanatic was referring to the Pilot Exalto A/S, which is an all-season tire.

Avenger HP are already mounted on the wheels I've buyed.

I've a little tested theses and they're not very good, maybe better than Yokohama A520.

I don't know the Michelin Exalto A/S, what are they name in France ?

Here I don't need to use all season, only Summer tire are enough for me.

The Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S is an all-season tire.

The Goodyear F1 GS-D3 is an excellent summer tire.
