anyone amp the stock speakers?
You can do it i use to do alot of car audio but havent in a while but you will need a line in/out converter mention that to someone in bestbuy or a audio place and they will hook you up.
Would definitely not recommend amping the stock speakers unless it's a really small amp. Stock speakers aren't designed to handle alot of continuous power. And that lovely 350 watt system is rated at max power, not continuous. Run 350 watts for a long period of time and you'll need new speakers in a hurry. Best bet is to get brand new speakers (I prefer FOCAL) and put a good amp to them. You'll be alot happier

My recommendation, if you want to upgrade your system, would be to replace your speakers first. The stock system already has an amp. I believe that amp is separate so you can hook different speakers too it.
If you want to replace the amp, you will have to bypass the stock amp, which I am told, is not easy if your keeping the stock head unit.
Anyway, the stock speakers are matched to the stock amp, if you change amps there is a good change your blow the speakers.
