Who has the highest whp turbo S2000?
Im curious as to who has the highest whp Turbo S2000 around. Wanting to know what we have to beat
Right now im at 598whp with a 62-1, topmount intercooler, TDF manifold, built motor, stock camshafts.
Who else is making big numbers?

we have an a1000 pump an lines (-10) so it should be good to go on the fuel

Not to disappoint you guys, but I'm actually holding a Super Street magazing from July of '05, and on the cover is a 852hp S2000... Convertable. Just to show I'm not B.S.-ing, it was stroked to 2.5L, contains a garrett GT40R, RC 1,200 injectors, Spoon Differential Gear Box, Driveshaft Shop level 6 axles, and the list goes on.
That is true, it's just the people with the 600 hp s2k have some more to go if they want to get into the uncharted territory. You also have to consider, over a year has passed so I'm sure someone out there has more than the 852. I'd imagine the number to shoot for would be over 900. But your right it's just another challenge to overcome.

If it was on the cover of Supergay Street Magazine I bet it was just a show car and never actually tracked even.

True. Earl built the motor for it, and the guy was going to rip it out and make it all motor, gay.

It may have been just a show car, but it still hit a high HP mark. That is what the OP is looking for. Good luck over at Mainstream Performance.

my s2k mde 619 on 60-1 bb t3/t4
we could have gone higher had we had a bigger turbo and better fuel system (walbro pump and 1000cc injectors were maxxed much less we were running the turbo at the end of the compressor map which is 55% effecient @ 30 lbs boost 62 lbs per min of air lol)
We are rebuilding the turbo system and fuel system and will be going back for 850 + so stay tuned
the engine is 100% factory never been opened up and has factory head gasket (11:1 comp ratio)

that guys a tool. we met him at a race in alabama an he was just proud ot have the swap done. he was an *** when you asked him questions and he claimed over $20,000 even though in the video they say $16,000. He said he was afraid the "driveshaft" would break, we told him the driveshaft is the least of his problems. in one of the videos they claim 800whp, but he said its never seen over 9psi.
the swap was clean, except for the fact the cut the firewall out
IMO, the s2000 is just too nice of a car to cram that motor into. The rear end will NEVER hold that much torque, unless you do what me an JG did which is a built nissan rear end.

oh an :
1) that turbo doesnt look big enough to do 850whp
2) he will need more than an AFC to do that kinda power. Ive seen guys making over 800whp with just an AFC but they usually have a chipped ecu to go with it.
3) stock intake manifold an 800whp+, id love to see it.
it is cool that they did it, and i respect all the fabrication and hard work to do it. but i would rather sink $16,000 into a 2JZ Single turbo 240sx than an S2000.

I think it is retarded, I personally hate supra motors why?
for big power you have a whopping 1-2 k rpm power band if you ever see a 850+ supra chart with no n2o and on a standard that has better than a 2 k rpm power band prove me wrong....
in my experience powerband is almost all the race, there is no good in a peak power that takes till the top of your gear to hit then you shift and you are back to nothing....
Also it isnt a "s2k" anymore it is just one light a$$ supra get that thing out of here...
