Default KYB agx struts and boots

I bought a set of AGX's and also a set of boots for them. But since i'm using coilovers on my AGX's, it looks like I can't use the boots now because they won't fit. Has anyone had this problem? Can I at least use the "built-in" rubber bump stops on the boots if I cut them off? I did really want to use the boots to protect the strut.

if you use coilovers, they wont fit. Are the boots you bought from kyb? or stock boots? i tried using my stock boots on my agx's with ground controls and it didnt' work. All in all its been 1 year and i've had no problems with my setup...

i bought KYB boots which are rubber. stock honda ones are just metal cylinders, those work but they always get caught up onto the coilovers when I lower the car back down after working on it. pretty much i cant use dust covers/boots at all, but the question was, can I cut off the built in bump stop on the KYB boots? does anyone know?
