Default New wheels huge problem

just picked up some new 15" wheels with 205/50/15 tires on em. One tire was blown so I put a steelie on instead which was a 14" steelie and rather smaller than the other wheels...

Now when driving the steering wheel shakes VERY badly, and its hard to keep it going straight. There is air in all 4 tires, and all lug nuts are on snug. Could the smaller wheel which is on the rear passenger side, be causeing my car to pull extremely hard to the left?

The wheels are LS webs, and im using the smaller non-acorn style lug nuts, which are thin at the base (acorns are wider) do i need ddifferent lugs? I just dont get how it pulls so hard to the left.

also the vibration in the car is terrible...one of the wheels are very very slightly bent, but not really noticeably. does this have a HUGE effect on why its pulling so hard?

ok how bout if I replace just 1 tire, can i get a different brand than what everything else is?

for instance, i have 3 kuhmos, and gonna get 1 dunlop or something....but all 4 will be 205/50/15...is this doable? or do i have to have the same brand?

sound like you need the wheels and tires balanced...could have a seperation in one of the tires as well......and the smaller tire is on the rr right...shouldn't cause the car to pull to the Left...could be a radial pull or a radial push.....or could be that the tires don't have the correct amount of air....and no buying one tire is not going to mess things up as long as you by the same speed rated tire as what you have on the car...put the newer tire on the rear or get two tires would be better so that you have the same tread on the same axles........as long as they are ballseat lugs's you should be fine as well.....

To the OP, you're using tuner style nuts on OEM wheels? You realise that means your lugs are only touching the wheels in an itty bitty thin circle, and not at all safe in any way, shape, or form. Though, that should have little, if anything, to do with the vibration. Sorry I can't help, but please get the correct lugs on there for your safety.

not only do you have different overall diameters on your wheels, it sounds like youre using the wrong lug nuts...

oem wheels=ball seat lugs
aftermarket wheels=tapered seat lugs

and having different diameter wheels will make your car pull to one side and drive unsafely

could be an alignment problem, air issue's, or like i stated could be that you have a defective tire ( radial pull ) rotate one side like the lft side...if it stops then you know you have a bad tire...if it pulls to the right then you have a bad rf tire

yea i rotated em, still pulls to the left, alignment i believe...when the wheels are off, and cars jacked up in the air, i can wiggle the spindle a few degrees back and forth....not good (both sides)

uhh i'd stop driving the car until those were replaced. i also wouldn't recommend getting 1 tire that is different than the others; will result in unpredictable handling.
