Today i was driving down westhiemer to pick up my sister from work.
I went through a abandond street. There i noticed a 90 ls trying to race me,
so i decided to punch it.
I noticed that my rpm went in the red line.
I shfited at 7K, i'm wondering what is the red line for the car.

stock tac is off a few hundred, so it might look like your reving to 7500, but your really not.

I thought my car was crazy going that far into the red line,
Because i had an 92 integra ls. and the needle wouldn't go in the red line.

 

mine goes into the red all the time. the tach is really off.........*shrugs*

stock tachs sux.. they are off by about 200-300 rpms.. get a digital tach like a vafc if you want something really accurate..
