hello all, I've been trying to confirm the differences of an ITR alternator and that of a GSRs, Well i found the ITRs mitsubishi one, the stator in replaceable and has 80 amps rating, GSRs stator is part pf the case and is 90 amps, Just wanted to see if these are correct or if theres anything else. I believe as long as they are both OBD2 or OBD1, they are compatible. The only explanation I can come up with the GSR having more amperage is because of the sunroof.

OEM alternators are always the best choice.

 

so does anyone know if if its just the amp ratings and the different manufacturer the seperate the two?

 

GSR is Denso, Don't know the amp rating.

Kinda cool though that the Type R one is cheaper by about $60
