B18A1 Building for turbo
Hey everyone, I just have this engine and am planing on boosting this thing to roughly 10-15psi not sure what level i want yet, but as for the internals, anyone recommend things to do? so far
arp head bolts
OEM cams " not sure what the best route is" for turbo.
going to use b18a1 head non vtec.
Springs
Retainers
Valves
Blockguard
possible sleeving depends on what boost level so im still ??? about so far.
oem crank, upgraded who knows at this point.
ovbiously upgraded injectors
possibly new fuel rail for bling appeal
new intake manifold? for looks and maybe slight performance increase, along with possibly new throttle body..
also pistons 9.0:1 or lower.. or slight bit more..
let me know what you all think if there are some reputable sites to order from.
Please let me know what you all think,
and recommend some refrence material for building the documents Im on aim also
likwidchz and icq 6881500 please let me know id love to talk

ummm...
with 10-15 psi on a stock head/cam ls your looking at around 300whp.
stock fuel rail is fine
get the obd2 ls cams and like a blox or skunk intake manifold, it will help keep the tq going above 6k rpms.
dont really neeed the blockguard. no need to go lower than 9:1, and get some eagle rods too they are a good bang for the buck.
spend some money on a good tune

any reason why the stock b18 cams wouldnt work?
as for a block guard its a cheep investment,
who knows id like to boost the **** as much as possible.. 1 psi before it breaks right
