main and rod bearings - for now i have only two options - oem honda bearings and acl. which one is better? or maybe you'll recommend some other bearings? i also read that some pepole use b16 oem bearings in such setup. Is it right?

You either want gsr, rsx type s, or acl bearings.. Bearings are only as good as your clearances are..

B16/LS bearings are the same size.. the only difference is the oil hole in the LS rod bearings which allows oil to spray from the rod and to the cylinders.

I personally use B16 clevites.

umm Im not sure what the first guy is taking about?? The b20 and LS are the same so just go with oem Honda LS bearings. That is what I have in my B20 and they havent had a problem. So far I put down about 220 whp and I rev to 8500 all day with no bearing issues.

so you say that b16 or ls bearings could be used but i shouls use ls ones cause they have a hole through which the oil is sprayed, right? i also read that some people use k20 brearings, could they be used?

gsr bearings these are narrower than b16 and ls bearings and consume less oil
