Default 15" drag radials too big for crx?

im runnin a turbo zc . gonna be 15-17 psi and using an SI cable trans.. i got a pair of bf drag radials. 225 50 15's . but do u think they are too big for the trans im using and will slow me down? i ran them with my ls wit a b16 trans but that has short gears i dunno how the gears on a crx si trans are but would it be better to go with a set of 14" drag radials instead? i just need alot of grip but dunnoo if 14 or 15 would be better

50 is the aspect ratio, as in each sidewall off the tire is 50% of the tire width. You have sidewall on the top and bottom of the tire, so double the middle number and multiply it by the first number 50% x 2 = 100%, so your tire height is 225mm + 15" which equals 23.8582677 inches tall!
